same person. different results.
Nothing about the person changed. Only how the photo was taken.
The difference comes down to a few simple things that are all explained inside the guide.
It’s simpler than most people think.
IT’S NOT YOUR FACE. IT’S THE CAMERA.
Especially phone cameras, which often distort your proportions without you realizing it. Small changes can completely change the result.
Inside this guide, you’ll learn what actually changes the way you look in photos. So you can finally understand what’s happening and start changing it.

About
Hi, I’m Johanna Siring and I’ve had a 17-year career photographing people, from strangers on the street to global campaigns.
Many of those years were spent in New York City- working with brands like Gucci, Prada, Samsung, and H&M, and capturing portraits of artists, models, and public figures.
My personal work, centered around human connections, seen by millions around the world and published internationally. Including my viral projects “Everybody is Somebody” and “This photographer shot portraits of strangers before and after she kissed them.”
Through all of this work, one thing became clear:
There is nothing wrong with your face. Just moments, angles, and timing that didn’t align with how you actually look.
A beautifully designed, easy-to-follow guide
Real before and after examples from my work
Simple and practical tools you can use immediately

CECILIE
“At the beginning of the guide, I felt so seen.”
That feeling of not recognizing yourself in photos… I had just accepted that something was wrong with me, that I simply wasn’t photogenic.
This guide completely changed that perspective.
It helped me see myself with more understanding and kindness,
and reminded me that I am somebody too. That message really stayed with me.
MARTHE
“Seeing the difference between 1x and 2x zoom was a real ‘aha’ moment for me.”
That’s when I understood how much small changes actually affect a photo.
Before, I would look at a picture and think something was wrong with me.
Now I understand it’s usually about light, angle, or timing and not my face.
It made me less critical of myself, and more aware when I’m being photographed.
I focus more on being relaxed and present and that already changes the result.
TRINE
“That’s when I realized how much lighting alone can change everything.”
What stood out most to me was how practical it is. The guide gives you simple exercises you can try right away on your phone, so you actually see the difference. It also changed how I think about photos of myself. Instead of being critical, I now understand it’s often about light, angle, or timing.
The fitting room example really stuck with me, it made me realize how different I can look depending on the light (and honestly explained a LOT).
This isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about understanding what helps a photo finally feel like you.
